Dane County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) “Gingerbread Casas for CASA” Event

For two years in a row KSW Construction has been a proud sponsor of the “Gingerbread Casas for CASA” event at Hilldale Mall. In 2009 KSW helped break a world record for tallest gingerbread man. At 26 feet tall the gingerbread man was built upon a solid wood frame in the atrium of Hilldale Mall. In 2010 KSW built a life size gingerbread house which was later covered and decorated in true gingerbread style. Verona Youth Sports Program

KSW Construction is also pleased to have spearheaded the development of the athletic field for the Verona Wildcat Youth Football program and the Verona Lacrosse Club. The facility, valued at over $220,000, was built with donated material and labor. As a parent and football coach, KSW Construction Corporation co-founder, Dean Slaby watched the football and lacrosse programs outgrow their existing facilities and knew KSW could provide the resources needed to complete the project with minimal cost to the teams. The project included building a press box, concession stand, equipment shed, and field; and installation of a score board, goals posts and fencing. KSW coordinated the project from start to finish including securing donations for electrical systems from Krantz Electric, sod donated by The Bruce Company, Stoughton Lumber, who provided lumber, Cleary Building Corp., who supplied the metal building used as an equipment shed; and services from Olsen Excavating.
